Loki didn’t bother turning around at first, but the smell of white amber soon aroused his curiosity. He craned his neck around and jumped as a small child unceremoniously plopped downin fron of the bars, grinning ear to ear.

“Hallo!” Fyr said breathlessly. Her face was beet red and she was gasping for air. A fine sweat was beading on her forehead. “Wheeeew. That was a long run.”

“Hello,” Loki replied scratchily, stiffly turning around and crossing his legs. He weakly smiled as well; it was hard not to when such a sweet child was so happy. “Why so excited?”

A few hours later, the four of us -- Tifa, Jack, Skall, and myself, to clarify -- were standing outside the outpost's hatch entrance. The sun was just beginning to disappear from the horizon, allowing us optimally low visibility.

Alright, first off, if anyone's been paying attention, I changed the titles a little to show that everything that's going on is all part of the same chapter. I like it. I think it makes sense. But anyway, here we find Nilas opening the proverbial can of whupass on a few nameless nobodies that we probably won't see ever again. At least, not for a while. That Henzl sure doesn't know when to quit.
